Understanding climate change as it relates to energy is a topic worthy of deeper conversation. This collaborative workshop investigates the complexity of this topic from a biological and societal perspective with questions posed to generate participant involvement. This session will close with a few vignettes profiling how climate solutions involving our current energy transition from fossil fuels to renewable sources that is already taking place here in our province.

Youth Climate Ambassadors Storytelling Workshop - Gr. 6-12 FILLING

The YCAP workshops are student-led climate education sessions for high school and middle school students, focusing on climate justice, anxiety, colonialism, capitalism, and sustainability. Delivered by trained UBC sustainability ambassadors, these interactive workshops focus on storytelling to inspire action and change, empowering youth to understand and address climate issues.
