In this workshop you'll be introduced to the work of the Surfrider Foundation, a 40 year old environmental organization dedicated to the protection and enjoyment of the world’s ocean, waves, and beaches. We'll dig into the challenges and opportunities facing our oceans and coastlines by highlighting the efforts of local foundation chapters. Participants will be invited to creatively imagine how we can build a future that ensures a healthy ocean for all.

Johnny is the chair of the Vancouver chapter of Surfrider Foundation Canada. He is passionate about finding ways to preserve and protect wilderness and wildlife in BC, from old-growth forests to our incredible coasts and oceans.
