About me
Issa Hassan is a GHG verifier with experience on over 100 GHG engagements in Alberta, British Columbia and Manitoba. He holds a diploma in GHG Measurement, Reporting and Verification at the GHG Management Institute, where he was trained under ISO 14064 parts 1, 2 and 3 (June 23, 2021), the 2006 IPCC Guidelines and the WBCSD/WRI GHG Protocols. His experience includes preparing corporate GHG quantifications, conducting GHG verifications for sawmills, pulp mills, single and aggregate oil and gas facilities and biogas projects, and preparing mitigation assessments under the Climate Lens Assessment. Trained in LCA from MIT and conducted several. In addition, he has seven years of experience in the heavy civil industry, supervising the construction and managing the design of roadways and all its related components, and 5+ years managing green infrastructure and R&D projects in the small-scale manufacturing industry.
