About me
Kayla (she/her) is an environmental youth educator passionate about Indigenous resurgence and climate justice. In June, she graduated from the University of Waterloo with an undergrad in environmental sciences and has since returned to unceded Coast Salish territory where she had the privilege of growing up. As a queer and neurodivergent youth herself, Kayla feels passionate about making environmental education accessible and engaging for everyone.
Prior to joining Bee Ambassadors Canada, Kayla has worked as a ski instructor at Whistler, an Au Pair in Paris, and an Inclusive Employment Coordinator for ShareWares, a small business advancing the circular economy in Vancouver. Outside of work, she enjoys camping, making art, and running a non-profit initiative with her sister called Wildflower Finds.
